Newsweek recently announced its 2025 list of America's Greatest Workplaces for Women! Forbes has unveiled its first-ever “Most Trusted Companies in America” list, ranking the top 300 companies out of thousands evaluated. Extra Space Storage made the top 25% of the list! 💚 “Deciding to buy means deciding to trust,” said Forbes in the article announcing the list. “Whether an individual or company, the customer must trust that a product will perform as expected. Cultivating trust is perhaps the most important factor for a business success.” The ranking incorporates measures across four categories: Employee trust, customer trust, investor trust, and media reputation. We ranked #61 on the list! Congratulations to all our teammates for working with integrity each and every day!
Newsweek and Statista recently announced America's Most Responsible Companies for 2024 and Extra Space Storage made the list! "Corporate responsibility encompasses environmental, social, and corporate governance. However, at the core is the idea that businesses should support the communities in which they belong." An analyst from Statista noted that ESG efforts are on the rise saying, "The data reflects a gradual but encouraging evolution in companies' efforts to fulfill their responsibilities, highlighting a positive shift in their overall approach." We are committed to being good corporate citizens and running a company that is built to last. Earlier this year we also were named by GRESB as a regional sector leader for sustainability which speaks to our ongoing efforts to improve the sustainability of our operations.
Joe Margolis, CEO of Extra Space Storage, commented: "We successfully completed our transformative merger with Life Storage in the quarter, and we have smoothly integrated its stores, team and systems onto the Extra Space Storage platform. "We have reached our anticipated G&A expense savings run rate from the merger. We have also started optimizing pricing and marketing at the Life Storage properties, and we are on pace to reach our total synergies run rate during the first quarter of 2024. "Operationally, we maintained strong same-store occupancy in the quarter, averaging 94.4%, and increased same-store revenue 1.9%. We remain confident in the durable nature of self-storage and the strength of the Extra Space portfolio, which was enhanced through our recent merger with Life Storage."

Collin Hintze, Zachary Dickens, and Samantha Battis represented the company at the event held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Extra Space has been a top-revenue company for multiple years thanks to our amazing team members.
