Since 1990, the UP200 has honored this history, celebrating the incredible bonds between mushers and their dogs. After serving as a firefighter and paramedic for 28 years, Region Safety Manager Pat found his way to Ferrellgas. Before his current role, Pat also worked as an Operations Supervisor and a District Manager. “Ferrellgas has been great to work for and the employees are top-notch. We are thrilled to share that our Vice President of Operations Support Meg Sharp will begin serving as the Treasurer of Women in Propane in January. Meg shared, "Women in Propane offers unique opportunities that have been proven effective through knowledge exchange, networking, and leadership allowing individuals to develop their skills personally and professionally." Meg recognizes the value of women's involvement in propane associations. “By becoming more involved and engaged in our local communities, we gain a better understanding of how our contributions can impact our industry and those around us,” she said.

Last week, Ferrellgas employee-owners helped bring the gift of warmth to children at T.A. Edison Elementary School in Kansas City. From getting the coats ready to helping each child find the perfect fit, we loved being part of this special day with our partners at Operation Warm. Over 300 children will have brand new coats this to keep warm this winter, and their creative thank you note made it all the more special!
