Summer Intern Spotlight: Chloe Beaulieu is a rising Junior at Boston University. She is currently majoring in business administration with a concentration in business analytics. A fun fact about her is during her freshman year at BU, she lived directly underneath the CITCO sign in Back Bay. Her favorite part of interning with FRT has been working with the Data Implementation and Legal teams. Chloe's summer highlights have been learning about how to onboard a client’s data.
Summer Intern Spotlight: Lexi is a rising Junior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the Isenberg School of Management studying Finance with a minor in Psychology. On campus, she is a member of the Smart Women in Securities and Women in Business clubs. Starting in September, she will be participating in the UWIN mentorship program organized by Loomis Sayles. Her favorite part of interning with FRT so far would be the Lunch with Leadership program. The FRT leadership has offered her advice that will not only be useful in her future careers, but in her life as well.
Summer Intern Spotlight: Ben Laddis is a student studying International Relations and Economics at Tufts University. He has experience in biomedical engineering research as well as academic writing and publishing. This past semester, Ben studied abroad in Madrid, which allowed him to improve his speaking skills, and become nearly fluent in Spanish. At FRT, Ben has enjoyed getting to work on projects that have had an immediate impact internally.
This summer FRT welcomed Chloe Beaulieu, Lexi Chiros, Ben Laddis, and Aidan Hanafin to the 2023 Summer Intern Program. Lexi, a rising Junior at UMass Amherst, and Ben, a rising Senior at Tufts, have been working closely with the Commercial Strategy team helping them update their client profitability master database. Chloe, a rising Junior at BU, has been assisting the Data Implementation team in cleaning, and updating onboarded client data. And lastly, Aidan, a rising junior at BC, has been shadowing the Remittance team returning unwired claims to their respective settlement pools for redistribution to shareholders. So lucky to have this great bunch of students!
Bread of Life is a nonprofit food security organization that provides over 1.5 million pounds of food each year to the people of the North metro Boston area. Thanks to our In & Out ERG, FRT volunteers were able to help package and distribute food boxes to the community. A job well done to everyone who came!
Friends and family gathered last week to celebrate FRT’s 15th anniversary. It was not only a day to recognize FRT as a company, but a day to acknowledge the hard work of the employees. FRT is continually shaped by our commitment to clients, our expertise, and our drive towards innovation. This achievement is the work of many!
Last week, Financial Recovery Technologies participated in the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Corporate Challenge in Boston. Proud of everyone for demonstrating their commitment to health, wellness and comradery!
Juneteenth, referring to the combination of “June”, and “nineteenth”, marks the day where news of the Emancipation Proclamation traveled to the last Confederate territories. This week, FRT’s People of Color ERG hosted a Juneteenth Lunch & Learn to not only celebrate the day, but to acknowledge the holiday’s history as well. Thank you to all who could join, and to the People of Color ERG for putting together an amazing presentation.
Last week, FRT employees had the pleasure to attend BeaconConnect, a networking event sponsored by a school we partner very closely with, Beacon Academy. It was a special night that drew companies from across Boston to connect with recent college grads looking to expand their networks and land a job. This is the second year FRT was in attendance and we're already looking forward to the next one!
