Upfront91, Goibibo’s first public front end event, had a successful completion of its first edition. The event kick started with CTO Vikalp Sahni taking everyone down the memory lane to one of our first prototypes. Saurabh Rajpal from Google shared the latest tools and new metrics to rightly measure web performance like Largest Contentful Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift, tools like Lighthouse’s Stack Packs ( stack specific performance suggestions ), and Chrome UX Reports (CRuX). Dhananjay from Goibibo, gave talk about ethical performance, and ways to analyse how 3rd party libraries could be blocking up the main Javascript Thread.
