Uswitch surveyed thousands of broadband, TV and mobile customers to find out what they think of their suppliers. Their responses determined the winners of this public choice category awards. We’ve had to update our mid-contract price rise calculator to deal with Virgin Media’s massive new 13.8% increase 😲 Unlike other broadband providers, Virgin will at least let you leave when they increase prices mid-contract this year – but you only have 30 days after you receive your price rise notification to let them know you’re switching to a different provider. So get shopping around!
You know we’re not like other broadband companies – we don’t hit our customers with mid-contract price rises. Now we’re making sure everyone knows – we’re launching a TV, digital and outdoor campaign to raise more awareness, and show that not every broadband company is the same. “Surely they can’t do that,” protests one character in the ad. “Look,” her housemate responds, “they’ve stuck it in the small print – apparently they can!” The campaign launches just as Ofcom has started a review based on new data that shows just how unfair these price increases are. Perfect timing.

From 2 to 2,000 people – we're celebrating 11 years this week 🥳 This week, we're celebrating our 11th birthday with two milestones reached this year: 2,000 employees, and 250,000 active customers. We had a little celebration in the office yesterday, celebrating of course with cake for everyone, cut and served by our very own Dana Tobak, CEO 🎂 We continue to set the pace among ‘altnet’ full fibre providers in the UK, with a market-leading penetration rate in excess of 25% overall and at 40% in areas where we've been present for more than one year, and a sustainable business model. We'd also love to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us on our journey so far 👏🏻
