Intact employees had a great time attending Big “I” Day hosted by Insurance Brokers and Agents Association of Sacramento (IIAB Sacramento). With more than 800 attendees, the conference was a great opportunity to connect with insurance professionals from across the industry!
Intact Inland Marine recently held their annual underwriting meeting in Nashville, TN! The team was together for the first time since 2019 to discuss recent accomplishments and future planning. Not only did the group “talk shop,” they participated in a team-building activity hosted by Build-a-Bike, where they built bikes for underprivileged children to be donated to a local Boys and Girls club. It was a great few days filled with honky-tonk music and reunions with colleagues in Music City!
Our Boston team spent time last month volunteering with United South End Settlements supporting their Club48 summer camp for kids! The office has partnered with USES as part of our Community Engagement program and has been supporting the nonprofit’s work through financial contributions, program and skills-based volunteering.
Every year, the U.S. honors National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. These four weeks are dedicated to honoring the remarkable influence Hispanic and Latinx Americans have made on our country and remember the ways they have made their mark on the world.
Our San Francisco office recently hosted a Jumpstart Party in a Box with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation! Jumpstart is an early education organization that provides language, literacy and social-emotional programs for children from under-resourced communities. As part of Jumpstart’s Community Engagement Initiative, volunteers helped create a children’s Literacy Kit.

With more than 500 attendees, gathered in New Orleans, IABA celebrated the trailblazers and the future of the profession. Intact was proud to be a first-time sponsor and participant in the conference and the career networking event.
We are thrilled to announce the winners of our annual college scholarship program! For the 19th consecutive year, Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions has awarded scholarships to 16 high-school seniors and current undergraduate students – funded by our Charitable Trust. Teammates from our Chicago office recently volunteered at the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club which dedicates itself to youth development and well-being. The team spent the day engaging with children and staff at the club’s day camp program and learned about the great work being done in the community.
