The fall season at Intuitive brought plenty of opportunities for celebration, learning, and reflection: three of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) held special events to highlight their unique culture and contributions. “I see myself as a bridge between languages,” Cyntia says. “Our products are so innovative, which means we need to innovate in our translations, too.” After Cyntia Ferrarese immigrated to the U.S. from Argentina, she found herself using her gift for languages, translating for people within her community. Eventually that gift led Cyntia to Intuitive. We invite you to learn about what brought Cyntia to Intuitive and why she’s stayed for nearly a decade, how she helped found ¡HOLA!, the employee resource group (ERG) for Intuitive’s Hispanic and Latinx community, and the life-changing impact of her own da Vinci surgery. https://lnkd.in/eJpuTQb7 #WeAreIntuitive
The Excellence in Robotic Surgery Award—established in 2022 in honor of the exceptional leader and mentor Javier F. Magrina, MD—recognizes an outstanding surgeon for their innovations in robotic assisted surgery utilizing da Vinci. We are proud to support this award through a grant, and prouder still to present it during the 52nd Global Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Congratulations to this year’s winner: Dr. Peter Lim. #AAGL23
Advancing health equity means striving to provide access to minimally invasive surgery for all eligible patients—no matter the time of day, insurance status, or site of care. Our inaugural Acute Care Symposium is a new educational event focused on the clinical application of da Vinci systems in acute care surgery. A group of experienced surgeon faculty will share their advice on building da Vinci acute care programs, leveraging data to demonstrate clinical value, and refining procedural techniques for emergency general surgery with da Vinci systems.
“We are setting an example and setting the bar high for future generations.” Clinical Sales Representative Justin Chavez and his fellow members of ¡HOLA! showcase the pride and diversity of Intuitive’s Employee Resource Group for the Hispanic and Latinx community. Intuitive is thrilled to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and the invaluable contributions of our Hispanic and Latinx employees as they prove what’s possible—for Intuitive and for their own futures. #HispanicHeritageMonth #WeAreIntuitive
What makes work meaningful? For Intuitive's President, Dave Rosa, he learned early at the company: “We’re fortunate if we spend our working time connected to something that matters. And we’re most fortunate of all, if we’re part of something bigger, an organization that’s clear about the vital importance of the work we do and how we do it.” For Rosa, building a durable company begins with values.
