Today, Dave Rosa is being promoted to President, and Bob DeSantis is assuming the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Corporate Operations Officer. Director of Consumables Manufacturing Ric Gorospe answered an ad for an engineering job at Intuitive more than two decades ago. Greater transparency is an indication of health of governance processes. Intuitive’s 2022 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report expanded its focus metrics and added ESG disclosures in alignment with frameworks set forth by the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures and the Global Reporting Initiative. In the U.S., the Food and Drug Administration recently cleared the da Vinci SP surgical system for simple prostatectomy as a representative procedure, which expands the urologic surgical procedures cleared by FDA. SP is part of Intuitive’s portfolio of surgical systems, now on its fourth generation of innovative technology. Learn more.
