The right to vote has been hard-fought by many Americans. People should not have to choose between their paycheck and their right to vote. We are announcing Election Day as a paid holiday for K1 and our over 5,000 portfolio company employees. We believe in the power of democracy and that our communities need to do more to help citizens exercise their constitutional right to build a more free, equitable, and just society. We are appealing directly to business leaders, especially in the finance and investment management industry to do the same. Let's make voting easier for as many people as possible until it becomes universal.
