Every year many countries around the world recognize March as Women’s History Month and here at LiveVox, we are making plans to celebrate as well. We are providing opportunities for our employees to get involved, whether it be volunteer time off to participate in community outreach initiatives, fun social media campaigns, panel discussions to learn from our peers and leaders, and a celebration launching our new Women in Tech mentoring program. We celebrate to remind ourselves of the accomplishments of women throughout the years to our culture and society. It’s a chance to reflect on trailblazing women who lead the way for change.
Every year, Black History Month follows a specific theme, this year's is “Black Health and Wellness,” which explores "the legacy of not only Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine, but also other ways of knowing (e.g., birthworkers, doulas, midwives, naturopaths, herbalists, etc.) throughout the African Diaspora. The 2022 theme considers activities, rituals and initiatives that Black communities have done to be well."
One of our own was invited to appear on a podcast talking about positive culture. Here at LiveVox we call it “The LiveVox Way” "It's important to me to create an environment with which people can thrive, where they feel they belong, that they feel like they're important, that they're valued, that their opinions matter and they can actually make an impact on the organization." - Craig Wendler There are some really great insights shared by Craig for anyone interested in joining our company. https://www.listennotes.com/podcasts/the-sales/what-is-highly-effective-zgxD06ui4Ia/ <-- Listen in!
