September is Hispanic Heritage Month! Beginning on September 15 and through October 15 we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. As recognized in the history of several Latin American countries as the date when they declared their independence from Spain. LiveVox is recognizing and celebrating the Hispanic Heritage of our employees with activity based (virtual) events such as learning to salsa dance together and nourishing the soul with food and celebration.
LiveVox has had a long standing relationship with the East Lake Foundation in Atlanta, GA and last night, as part of their DigiTECH series, we had an opportunity to share (via Zoom) some interviewing tips and tricks. We provided takeaways such as sample interview questions, questions they should ask in an interview and an overview of the STAR interviewing method. The engagement was great and there were so many good questions.

June marks the beginning of summer and time to celebrate Pride––an entire month dedicated to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community and celebrating diversity, equality, and visibility. There are many ways to celebrate Pride, from learning the movement’s history to supporting the diverse array of LGBTQ+ voices, to supporting local LGBTQ+ businesses and charities, and more. Since vaccines are being rolled out across the country this spring, Pride 2021 holds renewed promise for parades and outdoor celebrations. Here is how we are celebrating:
May is Asian and South Asian Heritage Month, so we would like to celebrate the heritage of individuals from all countries in the region. While thinking through ways to show our appreciation, we couldn’t help but focus our attention on the current events that are impacting the Asian and South Asian communities, specifically the COVID-19 crisis that is overwhelming the population of India and the rise in hate crimes against Asian Americans. Regardless of where you are in the world, there are many ways you too can support these communities. While this certainly won’t put an end to these tragic events, we are hoping that it will help spread awareness and drive positive change for the communities being impacted.
