Jessica Pena and Katie Cacioppo are BFFs and nurses at Methodist Richardson. They went to the same elementary school, middle school, and high school and even graduated from the same college (Texas Tech). Over the past few weeks, multiple groups have visited Methodist Dallas to thank and honor our staff. From our leadership team to Love in Motion, Dallas Fire and Police departments, the SWAT crew, VITAS Healthcare, and the Navy's Blue Angels, the show of support has been overwhelming. We love our community!
It's not enough that folks in 7ST are taking care of patients on their floor. They also found the time, during this crisis, to raise money for the North Texas Food Bank. The unit raised $500, which will cover 1,500 meals for families in need. Incredible generosity at work!

CBS 11 (KTVT-TV) aired the story of his amazing recovery, thanks to his physician and the hospital's participation in clinical trials for the drug.
