We were pleased to welcome Morton, IL Junior High students for their “Future Focused Fridays” learning series. Each Friday in February, the students visit a local business to promote career exploration within the community, make connections between academics and real-world applications, and help prepare students for a future of purpose and impact. The students met with leaders at our corporate office to get hands on experience in construction and our 3D Studio tool. They also enjoyed a tour of our facility! Morton Buildings is proud to serve the community by creating quality structures, supporting local initiatives, and contributing to the growth and progress of the area. Our commitment goes beyond the buildings we construct; we strive to be a trusted partner and a positive presence in the communities we serve.
Brandi Bakken is celebrating 8 years with Morton next month! When she’s not managing projects, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family or spending time in her own Morton buildings. Brandi’s favorite part of working with Morton is that every day is different. She especially loves when a project starts out as a napkin sketch and then sees it through to completion. The project Brandi is most proud of is a 5,000+ sq. ft. hobby building equipped with our Energy Performer Insulation and foundation system, keeping the structure sturdy and energy efficient year-round. Other special features include turkey tails, cedar accents, Acoustical steel, and more. Brandi’s long-term customer has two Morton buildings and retrofits on their property. Congratulations on your achievements at Morton—here’s to many more successes ahead!
