Saturday was our second time sponsoring Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and Parade! We got to spend the day marching in the parade with our Navigator friends and family along with half a million members of the Columbus community. The parade was a blast; our unicorn mascot was a huge hit! Working for an organization that is diverse and inclusive is important to so many of us, and we are grateful for this opportunity to join our community in showing support during this fun day. #Pride
We are honored to be named the #1 Top Workplace by Columbus CEO in the midsize organization category. This is a huge honor, as the judges were our own employees!
We are honored to be a 2019 Best Workplaces in Ohio! Awarded by Ohio Business Magazine.
Several Navigators enjoyed a fun Ladies' Night out on Friday, attending "Give Mom the Mic", an annual event to support Mental Health America of Franklin County's POEM program. POEM stands for Perinatal Outreach and Encouragement for Moms. Pregnancy-Postpartum Depression (PPD) and related disorders are the most common complications of pregnancy. But, like many mental health issues, it has a stigma and people are afraid to talk about it. Shame and guilt are words they hear all too often at POEM. Give Mom the Mic celebrates all aspects of motherhood, from hard to heartwarming, to hysterical. We are proud to support MHAFC, and the work they do to transform how people think about mental illness, making it easier to get help and give people the support they need to get better and stay better.
The Navigator Mid-Atlantic Office (aka Baltimore or BWI office) recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary. Since first opening its doors in the fall of 2008, the BWI team has grown to support 50+ clients across several industries, including government, non-profit, education, retail, energy, professional services, and healthcare. We are proud to say that the Maryland Department of Budget & Management was the first local client and has remained a client ever since. Navigator’s business in the region continues to grow, fueled by client demand to improve decision making and operations via the implementation of leading cloud solutions such as Workday, Cloudera, Tableau, and Oracle. The team’s commitment to living Navigator’s core values is evidenced by their recognition as a finalist and a top 10 Best Place to Work by the Baltimore Business Chronicle. They have also made it a priority to invest in their community while staying committed to client success. Congratulations on 10 years, BWI!

1 in 6 children in the United States live in a food insecure home. That number means 13 million children are facing hunger. We are grateful for the Navigators and their families who raised $7,500 for No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit that is working to fix those shocking statistics.
"All too often the focus of technology initiatives and implementation projects is on the technology. But study after study shows it is the human factor that drives the success of these initiatives. Technology is only a TOOL to help people do their work and processes better."
