    It's with continued dedication to building trust in our marketplace that today we announce another expansion of our Community MeetUp Spot program. Recently, we partnered with the AIM Group to create safetradespots.com, a website which houses safe exchange zone locations in police stations across the US.

    Today we welcome Rodrigo Brumana as our Chief Financial Officer. Rodrigo brings more than 20 years of finance experience to us, including an extensive background in financial planning and operations, plus a deep knowledge of e-commerce and services. He most recently served as Head of Finance & Analytics for eBay Americas where he oversaw business performance for a $30 billion business.

    OfferUp expanding Seattle area headquarters as headcount has doubled to 200 people in last year

    OfferUp is more than quadrupling the size of its headquarters in Bellevue, Wash. as the mobile marketplace begins to put the $130 million it raised last year to work. OfferUp confirmed a report from real estate firm Broderick Group that it has signed a new 71,330-square-foot lease for a building called Mercer Pointe.

    OfferUp raises $119 million for resale marketplace

    It's like Craigslist, but with auctions. is an app that makes it easy to buy and sell your goods. The fast-growing Seattle-based company is raising $119 million to continue its global expansion and continue hiring. The round is led by Warburg Pincus and includes funding from GGV Capital, Andreessen Horowitz and T.
