Phoenix Operations Group is proud to announce that we were recently awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) project by the Army’s Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD). The first phase of this effort is to research and develop an Analytic for Federated Data (ALFRED) capability that uses Machine Learning techniques to generate Amazon / Netflix style recommendations. Such recommendations will operate within I2WD’s Big Data architecture and help analysts discover relevant data across multiple mission disciplines (e.g. SIGINT, OSINT, Cyber).
The Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) recently awarded Phoenix Operations Group a new contract beginning in October 2017. This OTA (other transaction agreement) project was awarded to Phoenix after a competitive proposal process with multiple bidders. The program’s objective is to develop software prototypes atop the Tactical Cloud Reference Implementation (TCRI). Phoenix has previously supported multiple Defense and Intelligence Community customers with TCRI development, cloud administration and system architecture. This TCRI expertise will now be leveraged to inject innovative new capabilities into Air Force programs.
Phoenix is passionate about giving back to local organizations and enhancing our community. We proudly support the animal rescue efforts of PetConnect Rescue , a local nonprofit organization, rescuing abandoned animals and those in high kill shelters from the aftermath of hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
