The Good Samaritan Project Chicago has wrapped up! Last week, we bagged about 100 bags for the homeless!
The Good Samaritan Project Chicago is underway! This holiday season, we are partnering with the Good Samaritan Project Chicago to help collect and distribute basic toiletries along with a healthy meal to the Chicago homeless community. Our own Chicago colleague, Antoinette Watkins, started Good Samaritan Project Chicago in 2013 as a way to give back to the under-served homeless community. While Antoinette has funded most of the donation in past years on her own, Riskonnect is rallying up with Antoinette this holiday season in a big way! A note from Antoinette Watkins: “I hope you will seriously consider contributing to this effort. I was motivated to do more as I pass so many homeless while commuting to/from work. I started purchasing gift cards to local restaurants and handing them out and knew that I could do more to help others. This is my way of giving back and helping others. I’ve funded most of the past year from my own resources. Thanks for your time and consideration.”
