I have been working at Riskonnect full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Jim (CEO) has a great vision for the future and communicates that very well to the team. The organization is positioned for continued growth which is a great feeling. They utilize an online program that allows you to share about your experience each week with an emphasis to try and allow you to work in your natural strengths. Very laid back environment (relaxed dress code, bring your dog to work). They also offer lunch coordination that allows you to place your order online with the group and your food is delivered directly to the office, such a nice perk. Company has a good culture and strong values.

    Cons

No significant downsides, this has been a great place to work.

I worked at Riskonnect full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The team I worked with were extremely motivated professionals.

    Cons

Very little training was offered. Staff is extremely over-allocated. There is no work/life balance. You"ll work around the clock to trying to keep up. The biggest problem is the sales team uses "smoke and mirrors" selling a product that doesn't truly exist. Then, the implementation team works around the clock trying to create the said promised product.. only to have management commit to unrealistic timelines, which results in angry clients. Overall, it's not a good situation.

I have been working at Riskonnect full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It appears that many of the so-so or negative based reviews are coming from employees that used to work for one of the legacy companies prior to the new management team coming on. I have been with Riskonnect for over a year now and I cannot say enough good things about the company and the people. The company is growing, there is good communication and direction. The company seems genuinely committed to continuing to upgrade things to make the company even better.

    Cons

The only con is attitude of some tenured employees who cannot let go of the past and move forward.

I have been working at Riskonnect full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Casual dress, work from home, no limit on vacation days.

    Cons

401k match is awful at 1% if they just went to 3% it would be fine. CEO is great, management under him is questionable as some are not familiar with the RMIS industry and try to apply concepts that are not necessarily needed or fit. Communication is also a known issue right now-some departments get information while other are blindsided after the fact with items. Workloads have also increased for a lot of employees and There seems to be no plans to hire more employees, this will eventually burn out employees... The acquisition really cut benefits- the only increase was vacation but we had a great vacation policy with Marsh, so this was not a win for ClearSight employees financially especially the retirement benefits.

I have been working at Riskonnect full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Flexible work hours, work from home, newer offices, provided soft drinks.

    Cons

A young company trying to digest an acquisition of equal size, but with an older culture. Health benefits are not great. Recently went to a "bottomless" vacation policy. Does not reward tenure or experience.
