Company Updates

  • Tideworks had our very first Idea Dash today with participants from our Seattle HQ, Jacksonville, Panama, Mexico and Ukraine offices. So inspiring to see all the collaboration across teams within the organization and hear what incredible ideas our employees have to continue improving our company and the products and services we provide!

  • Part of Tideworks Business Development & Professional Services group volunteered with Nature Consortium today at a greenspace in West Seattle. The group removed invasive Himalayan blackberry from the forest to help restore the habitat and make way for newly planted trees and shrubs. We enjoyed giving back to a great organization that's doing their part to restore one of Seattle's largest remaining forests!

  • Our Tideworks Drone Program Pilot, Alex Gibbs, came up to the Seattle HQ to give us a special presentation about his journey and how Tideworks is using the drone to explore future innovations.

  • Check out our incredible team. We created this video to provide a glimpse into life at Tideworks and “why” we do what we do. This video shows the importance of the industry we serve and what it means to be part of the company. We hope this video sparks your interest in Tideworks and that you consider opportunities with our team.

  • What do those signs and symbols on the side of a ship mean? Look no further!

The Secret Language of Ships | Hakai Magazine

Approaching the container ship in San Francisco Bay, the tugboat looks like a pit bull puppy chasing an eighteen-wheeler. When the vessels are an arm's length apart, the ship's mate throws down a line. Now leashed to the ship, the tug can push and pull it around the bay.

  • Yesterday we had our Years of Service Celebration at Flatstick Pub for employees who have reached the 5, 10, 15, 20+ year milestones. We enjoyed playing mini golf, duffleboard and all the many other games. Thank you to all our employees for your service. We are so lucky to have each and everyone of you at Tideworks!
