Our Talent Acquisition Partners work hard to fill open roles, but who are we? Howdy! I'm Matt Lutz and I’ve been with Vetsource for almost two years. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Vetsource, my goal is to find, attract, and hire highly qualified employees and to build and maintain strong performing teams within the company. I support a variety of departments, including data services, engineering, finance/accounting, information technology/infrastructure, marketing, payments, product, and more. To me, the best part of working at Vetsource is that I am not only an employee of the company, but a customer as well. It's a win-win on both sides. If I can hire the right employee to make a difference in the life of a veterinarian or a veterinary practice then all customers, including myself, and our animals will benefit. My advice to candidates interested in joining Vetsource is to be yourself during the interview, show me why you’re the best fit, and demonstrate how you can contribute to our successes.
Our Talent Acquisition Partners work hard to fill open roles, but who are we? Hi there! My name is Hannah. I’ve been at Vetsource for almost 2 years. I recruit for operational roles supporting our pharmacies, warehouses, and call centers. What I love about Vetsource is our shared passion for pets driving all that we do. Our most unique Vetsource benefit is Airvet, an employer-paid veterinarian telehealth app. Having 24/7 access to talk to a veterinarian gives me peace of mind when it comes to my pet’s health. My best tip for interested pharmacy technicians is to share your passion in your interview. Showing your excitement and devotion helps us envision you in a role at Vetsource. Connect with me on Linkedin to make sure you don't miss any of the roles I’m hiring for and be sure to follow Vetsource on Indeed and Glassdoor! #vetsourcecareers
We’re excited to share this month’s employee spotlight, Senior Director of Technical Program and Project Management Priya Gokhale! Priya lives in Portland, OR and has been with Vetsource since January 2021. Priya oversees a team that helps deliver complex, cross-functional programs and projects to help improve our operations. When Priya started her Vetsource career, she was a team of one. Since then, her team has grown and she is proud of each member as they’ve continued to make a difference. Her favorite part of working at Vetsource is “the people and we have a great senior leadership team. They lead with empathy and really ‘walk the walk and talk the talk’. We have a great culture because it starts with them.” Every month, we feature an employee spotlight to highlight the diverse backgrounds of our team and why they enjoy working at Vetsource. This is a small part of our larger effort to focus on building a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace.
We’re honored to be named the 3rd Best Place to Work in Oregon and SW Washington! Vetsource employees — including members from the operations, pharmacy, customer care, and marketing teams — celebrated in style at the sports-themed event hosted by the Portland Business Journal. Earlier this year, employees who live in Oregon and southwest Washington filled out a survey about the company’s benefits, perks, culture, and leadership. More than 70 companies were nominated and only 30 made the cut. This could not have been possible without all the amazing people who work at Vetsource — not only for taking a survey to share your experiences working at Vetsource, but for doing what you do every single day to live our core values and make Vetsource a great place to work. Thanks for all you do!
We’re happy to share this month’s employee spotlight — Angelica Anderson! Angelica is an advisor in our call center. She is based in Killeen, TX and works from home with her three dogs, Little Bear, Sky, and Apple. A coworker from her previous company recommended Vetsource to Angelica in December 2021 and she’s been with us since. Angelica answers inbound calls and assists pet owners and clinics with their orders or accounts, and with troubleshooting. Her favorite thing about Vetsource is our core values. She says, “I love our core values, especially ‘Do the Right Thing’. I feel like our company core values align with my own in how I live my life.” Every month, we feature an employee spotlight to highlight the diverse backgrounds of our team and why they enjoy working at Vetsource. This is a small part of our larger effort to focus on building a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace.
