I know over the last week we have all watched the many images and stories coming from Ukraine that are both disturbing and distressing. There are also poignant stories of courage, hope, and strength. I recognize that the implications are deeply troubling--from the humanitarian toll that already is being felt by the people of Ukraine--to the potential long-term, global impact. We work and live alongside people from many countries including Ukraine and Russia. Further, we know that in many of our communities, our friends and family have roots in these regions and have loved ones living there. Vi stands in solidarity with those affected by the tragic events in Ukraine. In support of the crisis faced by the people Ukraine, Vi will be making a donation to the International Rescue Committee (IRC). Founded in 1933, IRC responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping people impacted by conflict and disaster. Let us hold the people of Ukraine and those supporting them close to our hearts and prayers, as we hope and pray for peace to prevail. -Randy Richardson, President
