Huge congratulations to the Which? video and audio team for winning the BSME - The British Society of Magazine Editors Talent Award for Best Video Team. The award recognised the great work the team has done over the past year developing and launching several series of videos that provide the viewer with compelling everyday advice in short, engaging clips around scams, household hacks and money-saving tips, generating great views and retention with a strong reason to watch. While much of the credit lies with the video team, they had a lot of input and support from across the organisation including our content, science, investigations, SEO, channels and data teams. Angus Farquhar, executive producer, video & audio, added: 'I'm so proud of all the hard work that my team has put in over the last few years to radically change our approach to commissioning and producing video for Which?, so to get recognition like this from our peers is the icing on the cake.'

During our Pride celebrations, Munro Page, member of the LGBTQ+ Network committee at Which?, has been sharing his thoughts on sexuality and expression with colleagues this week. He says: ‘Huge progress has been made in the past few decades in recognising the breadth of sexual orientations that exist. This means there is a greater understanding of sexuality than ever, allowing people to find an identity that represents them, or feel confident enough not to label their orientation. I hope to live in a world one day where everyone has charge of their sexuality – queer or not queer – and where we don't put stereotypes on sexualities.' #Pride #pridemonth #pridemonth2022
The Which? Disability Network launched recently, aimed at providing a welcoming space to support employees with disabilities and a collective voice on all things disability-related at Which?. The new network is chaired by Nadina Hoeller, legal advice services lawyer, who shared her story on why she wanted to develop a disability network. Nadina says: ‘I am so excited to have this opportunity to support my colleagues who also have disabilities which impact their daily lives and work. I was diagnosed with CFS/ME when I was around 14 years old and I have spent a lot of this time establishing my limitations, how best to manage my symptoms and adapt my approaches wherever possible to tackle tasks and achieve goals in a way which works best for me. ‘This is such an important and vast topic to help one another and continue to raise awareness and understanding for everyone so no one feels they can’t discuss their situation and needs.’ #disability #disabilityinclusion #disabilityawareness
