As part of this effort, our Executive team recently took to the streets on August 28, cleaning our adopted segment in Clearwater, Florida. Together, our volunteers collected over 55 pounds of trash and debris, making a noticeable difference in our local area. This partnership requires us to clean our section each quarter, and we are excited to continue contributing to this important cause. Each quarter, associates in the Clearwater area will volunteer to join us in future clean-up efforts and be a part of this rewarding opportunity to give back. The holiday season is a time of joy, celebration, and reflection. It's also a time to cultivate the spirit of generosity and compassion. Embracing the tradition of holiday giving, several of our e-TeleQuote leadership team recently engaged in a team-building activity designed to build bicycles that would be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Pinellas County in Tampa, FL. On a memorable Wednesday, December 13, our leadership team convened for a unique team-building experience. Divided into four teams, they immersed themselves in a series of engaging trivia activities. These included memory games, "never-have-I-ever" sessions to uncover new facets about their colleagues, the creation of a team chant complete with choreography, and the resolution of challenging riddles. Each successful completion earned the teams the necessary tools, parts, and pieces to assemble their bicycles, introducing an element of friendly competition as each team worked together to construct their bike first. Upon the conclusion of the spirited build-a-bike team-building competition, the teams received heart-warming news that the four bicycles crafted with enthusiasm and teamwork were to be generously donated to children associated with the Woodland Valley Boys & Girls Club of Pinellas County. For over 65 years, the Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to supporting underprivileged families through various programs.

Julie Gordon, Sr. Director, Learning & Development Julie, a talented leader of our Learning & Development team, joins her friends once a month to volunteer and dedicate their time within their St. Louis, Missouri community. During the holiday season, they met at a local food bank to collect, sort, and box up the donated food items that get distributed to those in need. It's a labor of love, and each time they get together, they are fueled by the knowledge that their efforts make a tangible difference in people's lives. But their commitment doesn't stop at food. Each month they select a different organization and as they gather for their upcoming volunteer day, there's a sense of anticipation and purpose. They know that coming together, they're not only helping to alleviate immediate hardships but also fostering a sense of solidarity and compassion within their community.
e-TeleQuote employees stepped it up in July! We held our first "Stride into Summer" Wellness Event where 195 participants got active to win prizes. Participants joined the Pacer app to track their steps helping them to meet their wellness goals. Together, the participants made a total of over 23 million steps, which is equivalent to walking over 11,000 miles or completing 452 marathons! Weekly challenges were held throughout the competition where participants could win prizes including a Ninja kitchen set, under desk elliptical, spa gift card, and treadmill. Each week photos could be submitted showing their activities with their family, friends, and pet companions to earn gift cards. For the big finale one employee won the grand prize of a cruise and airline vouchers valued at $2,000! The month-long event allowed all employees to focus on their health, stay active, meet their goals, and win prizes in a friendly competition with their fellow employees.

Supporting Pride Month Attend a Local Pride Event - Events are held throughout the month and include parades, festivals, and vendor and booths with education activities. These events are not only for LGBTQ+ people, but for those who support the community as well. You can search for a local Pride event in your community. Educate Yourself - Expose yourself to LGBTQ+ stories by reading a memoir by an LGBTQ+ author. If you're a movie buff, consider watching films or shows centered around LGBTQ+ figures, events, or storylines like Milk. Many LGBTQ+ options are available on your streaming networks throughout the month of June. Be an Ally - Allies work to stay informed on current LGBTQ+ issues and events. Living the Values Winners - 2022 From August to December of 2022, we had 35 nominees who succeeded in providing 5-star service to their clients. In our Living the Values awards, we will select one agent from each of the seven Core Values of Accountability, Compassion, Diversity, Excellence, Innovation, Integrity, and Transparency.
