The process at BCG is very straight forward. People are extremely helpful and friendly.
The cases are not too hard. I was prepared and solved them easily. However, a math problem prevented me from passing to final round. They are truly picky for summer positions.
My interview process was very competitive. It is my understanding that there are three rounds for recruiting. I personally did not make it past the first and was not granted an interview.
First round is a chill interview that has nothing to do with your case skills but solely about your background, followed by a bot conducted case interview with some mc. Second round is case interview with higher level employees.

How do you convince people when you think it’s necessary?
Inicialmente é necessário fazer um teste online. Na primeira ronda de entrevistas, fazem-se duas entrevistas de cerca de 30 min. Em cada entrevista há um conjunto de perguntas pessoais e de motivação, seguindo-se a análise de um caso. Quanto mais sénior o entrevistador, menos guiada a análise tende a ser.
