The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dyson in Aug 2009
Interview
Applied direct to company via ad in industry press. Set up phone interview with HR. 30-45 minutes of usual questions - go through CV/work history and simple questions such as why Dyson?
Then invited for 1:1 interview via email a day later. Declined due to other job offers.
I went through 3 rounds of interviews and was told I’d hear back within 1–2 weeks about their final decision. I never did. I followed up twice to check in and was completely ignored. After investing that much time and energy into the process, the lack of basic communication was really disappointing. Not responding at all after multiple interviews feels disrespectful and unprofessional. A short rejection email would have been enough. Do better.

Question 1
Final interview mainly consisted of behavioral questions, where I was asked to talk about past experiences, how I dealt with certain challenges, and how I would approach different hypothetical situations.
My interview at Dyson was both challenging and inspiring. The team clearly values creativity, technical expertise, and a deep passion for the brand. The process was structured yet engaging, giving me a real sense of Dyson’s innovative culture.
