      Submitted my resume via webpage took two months to get a phone call, went on the interview with two managers. I didnt hear anything back for a couple months figured I didnt get the job, then received another phone call for a follow up interview then started a month later. Nothing moves quickly in this company.

      Interview

      I was contacted by someone within the organization to setup an interview, given the date and time and person that I would be interviewing with. On the actual day of the interview, I found out I would be interviewed by 4 people. The HR person did not provide the names of the personnel prior to the interview. During the interview, none of the interviewers turned on their cameras. The company uses Microsoft Teams. So I was the only one that had video on. Each interviewer said they did not have a camera to go on video. This happened with 2 separate interviews over the past few years. I was told that the person I would be replacing was moving to the state that I live in and I would be moving to the state of the person I was replacing. It was the same role but in different states. I believed the organization was a tech savvy but the interview process was not, nor was it organized. After the interview, I followed up with the HR person and did not receive an email back with any sort of response or follow-up. This happened a few times. I believed the products and services were quite advanced and cutting edge; however, the organization itself in its operations of interviewing was dated, maybe a bit old school. They have an overview of the entire interview process on their website so I expected the interview to go as the website explained and that just was not the case. In preparation for the interview, I spent quite a bit of time studying the website. I felt they had a really nice website but that level of excellence their website portrayed was not real to how the company treated me. The people within the organization I believe rest in the prestige of the company name but they themselves do not actually reflect the high level of standards that are portrayed when dealing with people. Very disappointing. After my experience I really thought long and hard about whether or not I would be comfortable being involved with the sale of weapons and ammunition. They sell to many other countries on behalf of the government. I really had respect for the organization until I experienced how people are treated. I spent quite a bit of time in preparation for the interview and after several interviews, it became apparent that people are not treated well. A few months ago, I applied for two different roles I was interested in. For the 1st role, I received an email from the HR person with a number of questions, such as; How many years of experience do you have? Why are you right for this role? Salary expectations? When are you available to start? Security Clearance? I responded and then the HR person never followed-up. Then not long after I applied for the first role, maybe a few weeks, I get an email from the same HR person asking the same questions for the 2nd role. I began the email reminding the HR person that I had just completed the questions for the 1st position that I had applied to but I had completed the questions again thinking that maybe the HR person just made a mistake that she just sent me the same email for the other role. Again, the HR person did not respond. Nonetheless, my opinion of NG when I was studying their website and keeping current on new Youtube posts for the company was that they were top notch and that the people in those videos were happy employees that were treated well. But after my experience, I know that I don't want to work for a company that treats people like they don't matter. However, I am so glad that I had many opportunities to get a feel of the organization and really learn whether or not it was a good company to work for.

      Had a panel interview with questions concerning background and knowledge of programs that the company was working on. It was an overall relaxed setup overall. We then had a tour of the facility and further discussion on the interest in the position.
