I was in a contract position, working with this company for a couple of years. I put in my two-weeks notice and was contacted by the support manager (who was in another office) on my last day, a Friday. She asked me if I wanted to be hired on and I said yes. There was no need for an interview, really, since everyone in the department knew me and my work pretty well. We negotiated a salary and I had an offer letter in hand the next morning. I started working in my home office on Monday morning. A laptop and an iPhone showed up in the mail not long after that.

I had a screening call that was rescheduled one hour before scheduled time. On the screen call recruiter rushed trough it, was the shortest interview I ever had. He seemed not interested much, possibly they already had different candidate chosen - why then wasting my time. Overall I thought there will be another stage to it as there was nothing I could do wrong on the screening call. He said I can contact him via his email on other positions available as well. Never heard back from them. After week I emailed recruiter to see if there will be any further progress on my application. No answer at all. Very unprofessional!!!
