The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Waddell & Reed (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2011
Interview
When I first arrived I sat at a large table with three other students. We sat through a power point slide show that described the history of the company. After the presentation, I had a 1:1 interview that consisted of basic personality questions. It lasted about 30 minutes. The last fifteen minutes were about my hobbies and interests. After that I was told that I could come back in a week to interview with another adviser. I did not come back for another interview because the position was 100% commission and I was not interested.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Waddell & Reed (Kansas City, MO)
Interview
Spoke to a representative at the career fair. Then they followed up with an email and a pre-screening questionnaire. Then a phone call interview. Next day received an email with their decision.

Short and I felt really judged based on appearance immediately; interviewer was not very friendly or accommodating to my own questions about the firm, as if he didn’t want to answer any questions.
