Advancing diversity and inclusion
To build for everyone, we must consider everyone. People from all backgrounds — with diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas — rely on Meta technologies to build community. Building a diverse team where everyone belongs is crucial to understanding where we're succeeding and where we need to do better.
In 2019, we set the goal of “50 in 5,” which means that by 2024, at least 50% of our workforce will be underrepresented people. In doing this, we aim to double the number of women employees globally and double the number of Black and Hispanic employees in the US.
