      Pros

      - Big name in industry and if you know how to play the hierarchy and getting yourself in a long project then you can do well here

      Cons

      - Very dissapointed with the culture. A lot of manipulation from senior leadership and misleading people for their own benefit. - I think you are fostering the wrong behaviours to be sustainable. For example - I was told by an MD to 'be quiet and stay there' on a project that was lasting 1 year and had no requirements. That means I would be expensing travel and Accenture will be charging the client £2000 a day for me to do nothing. When I raised this I was just told to be quiet or it will go as a negative on my record. - They have stripped a lot of company perks and benefits over the past few years and then go ahead and report record winning profits...well yes because you have blocked all internal travel and gifts to over 700,000 colleagues.

      Cons

While Accenture is known for its many opportunities and global presence, there are several challenges that some employees have reported: High Workload and Long Hours: The fast-paced, client-driven environment can sometimes lead to extended work hours, particularly during project crunch times, which may impact work-life balance. Frequent Travel: Depending on your role and client assignments, you might be required to travel often, which can be demanding and disruptive to personal routines. Bureaucracy and Complex Processes: As a large organization, navigating internal processes and approvals can be cumbersome at times, potentially slowing down decision-making and innovation. Performance Pressure: The competitive culture and high expectations can create pressure to consistently deliver exceptional results, which may not suit everyone. Variable Project Experiences: With a diverse range of projects and teams, the quality and engagement level of work can vary significantly, which might mean some assignments feel less aligned with your personal interests or career goals. It’s important to note that experiences at Accenture can differ widely based on your role, team, location, and personal work style. While these challenges exist, many find that the career growth opportunities and global exposure offered by the company outweigh the drawbacks.
