We are living in an age where Aspen Dental has been hacked and lost tens of millions of dollars in revenue, and yet they still don’t care about their employees sensitive information. Aspen Dental delayed my application to start working for them as a dentist by one week because I refused to email the credentialing department, my Social Security number. This question being asked repeatedly during my time working at Aspen is just a testament to the fact that just because you can make a denture well doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone should have a denture. Just because someone says that they do not want their teeth does not mean that they are completely informed about the risks of wearing a denture. Once I began stressing informed consent my owner fired me and tried claiming I am the problem . He was the source of a lot of problems for staff and patients.
