What are perks and other benefits like at Boeing?

Working at Boeing as an analyst has been an incredible opportunity for me. I've had the chance to be part of innovative projects that impact the aerospace industry on a global scale, which is both challenging and rewarding. The work environment is highly collaborative, with team members who are supportive and always willing to share their knowledge. This has made it easier for me to learn and grow in my role. One of the major benefits of working here is the good work-life balance. Boeing offers flexible work hours and the possibility of remote work, which helps me maintain a healthy balance between my personal and professional life. The compensation package is also competitive, with a solid salary, comprehensive benefits, and additional perks like retirement plans, health insurance, and performance bonuses. There are plenty of opportunities for professional development as well, with access to training programs, certifications, and internal job postings that encourage continuous growth.

However, working in such a large organization does have its challenges. The corporate structure can be overwhelming at times, and navigating through the bureaucracy can be time-consuming. Additionally, the decision-making process can be slow due to the company's size and complexity, which can sometimes lead to delays in project progress. Despite these challenges, I believe the overall experience at Boeing is positive and offers great potential for growth and development.

Annual salary increases were dismal, upward mobility within the company were difficult to attain

Benefits are great, if you work in defense you have a 9/80 schedule which gives you 26 more 3 day weekends, and I have a hybrid schedule on top of 22 days of PTO a year to start.

You may have to work odd hours and there can sometimes be a lot of scheduling pressure. They don't train you very well for the jobs you will actually be doing, and each team does things very differently so it's hard to gain deeper knowledge of different skills.

Great pay, benefits and you are part of an engineering union so you get paid for working over 40hours/week.

Big company bureaucracy, not flexible with hybrid or remote options right now.
