Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your honesty and value your contributions to our team. We understand that while there are aspects of the job you enjoy, such as the learning opportunities and the good reputation, the work-life balance is a concern for you. Here are some steps to consider, along with resources available to you: • Flexible Work Hours: BCG offers flexible working hours and a potential compressed workweek to help manage long hours better. See how BCGers Anis https://careers.bcg.com/blogarticle/flexible-work-arrangements-bcg and Elena https://careers.bcg.com/blogarticle/flexibility-and-work-life-balance leveraged the flexible work arrangements available. • Mentorship Programs: check out some of our mentorship programs to help support you in managing the demands of the job and finding a better work-life balance. • Health and Wellness Programs: BCG has several programs focused on mental and physical health, such as stress management workshops, fitness classes, and counseling services. Contact your local HR to learn what’s available to you in your location. In addition, there are training programs focused on time management, prioritization, etc. to help manage workloads. I personally have taken some of the sessions and found them helpful. • Regular Check-Ins: Having regular 1:1 check-in with your case team leader, coach, and PL on workloads, well-being, and any other concerns is important to ensure you are thriving and so is the team. Plus, your team lead can talk about career pathways, training programs, and more. • BCG Resources for Support: keep in mind we have BCG Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing confidential counseling and support for personal and work-related issues. The BCG Career Development team offers resources and guidance on career growth and managing work-life balance, the BCG Health and Wellness Programs includes fitness classes, stress management workshops, and other wellness initiatives. The BCG Mentor Connect is a mentorship program to connect with experienced colleagues for guidance and support. The BCG MyTime encourages the use of flexible work arrangements and time off to ensure employees maintain a healthy balance. And a few more. We hope these initiatives and resources will help address your concerns and improve the overall work experience. Your well-being is important.
