      Pros

      - Free food sometimes - 50% Discounts and Seasonal 75% - Flexible schedules - Making fast friends - Free movies when passes are allowed.

      Cons

      - Cliques: Especially with the managers who was regular employees with me once and they start acting different. - Favoritism: Mostly the managers. They like to schedule their other friends 2 to 3 hour shifts, give them mostly box shifts when other people ask to get scheduled for that shift, and nitpick on some employees they don’t like. - Being understaffed during our biggest movie season. They don’t like hiring during this season until it gets slower. - No discounts on merchandise, sadly.

      Pros

Very friendly staff, fun to see movies after your shift and having access to an abundance of popcorn.

      Cons

Long shifts that go late, strict upper management with nearly impossible standards with the resources given

      cannot make a living here

      Pros

Decent job for high schoolers (minus the late hours), cool benefits of 50% off concessions and free tickets. For management, it’s “less” work but far more exhausting dealing with these major guest events. Decently easy to get promoted from within and the hours as a manager are consistent.

      Cons

PTO is VERY slow to accrue, the pay is horrible ($13.50 manager base/$10 emp base), and the operating hours are constantly changing in drastic ways. Why do we have people working on their feet from 7-5pm and 5-2am? You will WORK, and be understaffed because “we just need to cut hours”, hint: the GM gets a bonus payout for labor hours saved. I did an entire round of hiring entirely by myself on top of being a full-time university student for zero extra pay (minus the extra hours I was here). Our location’s on-duty officer, of which is only present for busy weekend nights, likes to disappear halfway into his shift!

fun social and busy but cliquey
