The idea itself isn't bad. Kids need mentors, Schools need help. The pay for this position is not far from an entry level teacher salary and has good benefits.

You are the ultimate middle man. Upper management (at the time) was filled with liars who decieved their employees and corps members frequently. Not to mention they were in trouble because the ED and Money team ran nearly half a million dollars over budget.

Work life balance is horrid to the point where you often cannot take time off, leadership practices churn and burn style tactics for their employees, leadership runs the organization with a venture capitalist mentality laying off employees each quarter to pad numbers.

They pay YOU money and benefits. About the same as a teaching position.

They make you the middle man. Any extra work gets put on you. It is basically a requirement to manipulate Corps members to be successful here. Everyone who manages you is really good at manipulating people.
