Toxic environment - not the same company I joined

      Cs leader
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

-High-performing, driven team that sets a strong standard—great place to learn and be challenged. -Supportive and collaborative peers who are both talented and enjoyable to work with. -Strong product with a clear value proposition and solid market fit—feels good to work on something impactful. -Fast-paced environment with lots of learning opportunities. You will know more than when you walked in the door.

      Cons

-The company has shifted over time and now operates in a culture of fear and blame, particularly from senior leadership. -What was once a collaborative environment has become increasingly focused on cost-cutting and micromanagement. -Leadership—especially from the COO to senior customer success leaders—seems more invested in identifying who to exit next than in developing or retaining strong performers. -Earning potential is routinely chipped away through comp plan changes and shifting expectations, often without clear justification. -Transparency and trust have declined significantly, and psychological safety is lacking. -Unfortunately, this no longer feels like the company I was excited to join years ago.

      Cons

They do not care about you as a person You are nothing but a cog in the wheel 10 hour in office days and pressure to work overtime (without pay) to meet KPI’s The majority of people leave on a PIP or quit because it’s horrible Management is extremely toxic Majority do not meet anywhere near their quota

      Pros

Some colleagues and peers are great to work with.

      Cons

If you're looking to grow, be challenged, or contribute strategically in marketing, this is not the place for you! No Room for Creativity or Growth: Opportunities to think strategically or contribute creatively are limited. You’re expected to follow instructions, not shape direction. Lack of Recognition: Talented individuals often go unnoticed. Leadership rarely acknowledges contributions, which can be demoralising over time. Toxic Management Culture: Many managers struggle with receiving feedback and create a culture where saying 'no' is seen as disloyalty. Exploring internal roles is discouraged, leading to career stagnation. Forced Exits and Silent Layoffs: I've personally seen several colleagues pushed out under vague circumstances. There is a pattern of quiet exits and unspoken pressure. Misleading Reviews: Many of the overly positive reviews here don’t reflect reality. Only consider joining if you’re content clocking in, doing exactly what you’re told, and not being challenged or given space to grow. Otherwise, this environment could negatively impact your career trajectory.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

French presence means on average, people feel comfortable actually using the unlimited PTO. In-office vibes are good. Hybridly located organizations actually work pretty well, for the most part. Internal mobility program is great. I've actually found that HR really advocates for individual workers too. Overtime, compensation has gotten better.

      Cons

Your experience varies a ton depending on the team and organization, especially if you're a manager. Level one EMs here can be tech leads or pure people managers. It seems very, very stressful to be a PM here. There are some pretty non-rigorous practices when it comes to design and product. For example, we hire a ton of designers without any UX or market research capabilities who override PM decisions. Retirement matches for US seem underdeveloped.
