What a complete waste of time. They make you take tests that, frankly, consume days of your life before even conducting background checks.
I had been traveling, as many people do, and they asked for proof of my travels. I provided bank statements and flight tickets, but apparently, that wasn’t enough. They insisted on proof of volunteering, even though I wasn’t volunteering—I was just traveling. I’m sorry that I can afford to do so, but I don’t understand why I need to constantly have a job to justify my travels.
Even though the bank statements showed savings, transaction history, and detailed records of the four months I spent traveling to multiple countries, it still wasn’t sufficient. It seems they expect you to have never left the UK to apply.
They also asked me to provide evidence that I hadn’t been working during the "two-week" period after my return. They demanded a benefit letter, even though I’ve never been on benefits. It’s as if they assume everyone must rely on benefits to survive.
I wasted countless hours completing exams, which they should pay you for, only to be told that they couldn’t move forward without more information. I had already provided flight tickets and bank statements—what more could they possibly need? A picture of me sitting on the beach with a timestamp?
It’s ironic because I work for a government institution and was only looking for extra income. It’s laughable that the GOVERNMENT can accept everything, yet these people couldn’t.
Honestly, they have no idea what they’re doing. Don’t waste your time. It’s absolutely absurd
