What is the salary like at Genentech?

Pay is great, benefits are great, hybrid work from home and in office

Very frequent change in management, hit or miss with managers, highly competitive with moving around the company or getting promoted

Good pay, great environment, easy to contact leadership, opportunities for growth, work life balance, they actually care about the people they are giving medicine to, it's pretty amazing.

No real cons honestly, in my opinion.

No true metrics equals subjective reviews. Everyone trying to prove their worth. They don't want you to be too patient centric- instead more business focused

Good pay, good benefits, good work-life balance, good values in terms of big pharma company - patient centric and management cares about employees well being. This may differ depending on department.

Recently took away fully remote positions, leadership is starting to micromanage, punishing people on a department level rather than individual level. lots of "talent flowing" in which you do extra work for no extra pay. lots of budget cuts.
