Does Goldman Sachs offer dental insurance?

Pros

-great benefits: offers Roth 401(k), health, dental, etc. -TONS of leadership opportunities. This is one of the few places that truly pushed me in terms of throwing me out in the ocean and trusting that I have the capabilities to move forward. They would give me responsibilities I wasn't sure I was ready for at times but the fact that they trusted me motivated me to work hard to not disappoint

Cons

-terrible work life balance for certain employees -from my experience your manager makes or breaks your experience. Some managers are AMAZING but others are terrible. GS has a structure where you practically need to become a manager in order to move up in the firm. Because of this A LOT of people that are unsuitable to become managers (but are fantastic individual workers) get promoted which results in high turnover, employee dissatisfaction, and employee burnout. -low pay -halftime hourly for overtime

great benefits: offers Roth 401(k), health, dental, etc.

Does Goldman Sachs offer family leave?

Pros

Depending on what your ultimate goal is for your life and family Goldman can be a great place to work. You are able to continually grow and improve as an employee at this company. They offer great maternity leave (16 weeks paid), good time off policies (depending on what department you work in too federal law requires you to take 1-2 consecutive weeks off work so you will be able to use your time off) and an ever changing environment.

Cons

- No work life balance (I literally mean none, expect to work a min of 50 hours a week no matter your department) - Promoting is difficult (they use a quartiling system and only do promotions once a year in December) - If you don't like your team or job internal mobility is an option but is one of the most difficult experiences
