      Pros

Stable company with great job security. The benefits package is solid, including good health insurance and a 401k match. The work-life balance is generally respected for a corporate insurance role. Colleagues are knowledgeable and the Richmond office location is convenient.

      Cons

The hiring process was excessively slow. The background check and drug screening felt invasive and took weeks longer than promised. Bureaucratic red tape slows down every decision. Salaries are competitive but not industry-leading. The corporate culture can be resistant to change and new ideas.

      Pros

Great food, decent pay and quality of life benefits.

      Cons

Horrible management. They put all of their faith into an "algorithm" that does not account for travel time and terrible weather. I moved halfway across the country to start a new career for Google only to be written up for not knocking on enough doors during a thunderstorm. They have so many verification procedures in place that it took 3 weeks of me reaching out to management everyday for them to fix an issue they had with there computer system before I could finish my new hiring paperwork. This resulted in my first check being a week late, when I asked for an advance so I could have enough money to get to work they threatened to write me up for asking my colleagues for money.

      Pros

Free breakfast/lunch that's available for all individuals working onsite, great benefits, onsite amenities, work life balance

      Cons

Toxic work environment, micromanagers, bad wifi (good luck getting work done), documentation is either nonexistent, obsolete or forgetten about. The hiring process needs to be improved because there's a good chance you will be ghosted. You need to watch your back as not everyone has good intentions.
