      Pros

Absolutely love the team I work with!

      Cons

Work life balance isn't great. They are very flexible with you reducing your hours to accommodate young families but work from home is not permitted unless you have an appointment. Getting recognized or receiving achievement awards is very difficult if you don't publish material.

Good pay and benefits, but no remote work options

      Pros

      - Salary for new grads generally better than other companies - lots of help around the company if you need it, everyone is willing to help - management chill as long as you get your work done

      Cons

      - no work from home - slow wage growth year to year - bonuses not very big

      Pros

Great people, and there are so many clubs and extra curricular activities you can join! It almost feels like it's own campus in the Mississauga location.

      Cons

My drive was far, and you aren't really allowed to work from home, even if the tasks at hand are very much doable from home.

      Great Culture

      Jr pipe designer
      Current contractor
      Mississauga, ON
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - nice office - amazing team - no sense of competition between colleagues - lots of lunch and learns - lots of clubs/ sports teams you can join - YP socials and networking events

      Cons

      - my commute is just way to far (1h20min one way) which makes it balancing home life and work a bit more difficult since I'm essentially out for work 12h a day including my commute. - not THAT flexible in terms of in person/ remote work... Which is not always the most ideal since 90% of the work is done individually and from a laptop

Worst company you could ever work for

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee
      Perth, Western Australia
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Occasionally some interesting projects to work on

      Cons

Where do I begin… - cult like atmosphere where the CEO and board are placed on a pedestal and almost idolised. - Only company I’ve ever heard of that has a manifesto rather than core values - manifesto is just a sales pitch to get staff to space away and dedicate their lives towards making the shareholders rich at their own expense - shares are dangled in front of staff without any means of actually attaining (no metrics, timeframes etc) - salaries well under industry with very low annual raises - bonuses almost non existent - company does almost nothing to eradicate bad behaviour, which is rife. Bullies are given a free pass because they make the business money - company likes to pretend is cares about diversity and equality but in reality is run by a bunch of old white men stuck in the 1950s - no flexible work policy, no wfh If you care about your mental and physical health, and actually being compensated for your experience, then do you work for Hatch.

      Exciting work

      Optimization specialist
      Current employee

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Get to work on a variety of projects and keep yourself busy. Company is relatively flat in hierarchy.

      Cons

Pay could be higher, and there are some structural issues. Work from home policy is terrible.
