Undergoing credit bearing grade attached internship is not recommended in the Malaysia branch.

      Pros

      * Some colleagues from departments across the aisle were friendly and very cordial. * Friendly concierge staff and IT staff who were genuinely understanding and willing to help at all times.

      Cons

      * The department where I underwent my internship was probably one of the most unfulfilling experiences I have ever encountered. * Cold and distant team members, uncooperative, and unwilling to be guided by the hiring manager were only the tip of the iceberg. * Expected to do tasks with minimal guidance, and causing mistakes despite being an intern is treated like the end of the world, paired with constant, boring, repetitive, non-substantive tasks. * Never allowed to utilize any Work From Home policy, despite interns from other departments being able to utilize the one-day work from home policy due to an uncooperative and frankly, a lack of basic empathy hiring manager. * Got the end of the stick of receiving an unsatisfactory internship grade, which cumulated to messing up my final cumulative grade point average as a result of the hiring managers not being satisfied, despite completing all redundant and mundane tasks adequately, and coming into the office everyday despite and unable to utilize the one day work from home policy. * Hiring Manager specifically should really adopt a sense of empathy, understanding, and ultimately reflect upon themselves as a result of giving students a hard time due to a combination of factors, such as being hands-off, not being understanding and cooperative, distant, and lastly being borderline rude and dismissive.

      Pros

There is a company culture that takes your career plan preferences into consideration. We have an open position system that provides opportunities to challenge yourself in other teams and business units. The working style is flexible, allowing you to adjust your arrival and departure times as well as work from home. There is a culture of cooperation among employees, and mutual support is the norm. There's a strong culture of collaboration here, with colleagues readily offering assistance and expertise, even across different teams. The company fosters a supportive environment where taking time off is easy and respected. They are understanding and accommodating of personal and family matters. Because people with various backgrounds gather here, we can have discussions from multiple perspectives and generate many ideas. There are also many individuals whose work approaches are informative, making it a great learning experience. We have the opportunity to connect with people from various countries and cultures here, if we choose to.

      Cons

There isn't a structured training program for internal systems, work procedures, or rules, leading to inconsistencies in understanding and implementation. Internal rules can vary depending on your supervisor, even within the same company. Side jobs are not permitted.

      Pros

The most important to mention is human approach from managers and also from other employees and it´s really noticeable. They are trying to get rid of toxicity in the company which is more than appreciated. There are a lot of opportunities to grow and learn, when you are ambitious and hard-working - it´s seen. Great benefits and they are keep coming + telework.

      Cons

Limited telework, however in special situation there is occasional work from home.

      - People-focus organization - Great company culture, cared about people, community, values sustainability and not just bottom numbers - Offers competitive salary - Supportive and nurturing work environment. Provides limetless opportunities for growth and development - Stable, been in the industry for more than 100 years - Multinational company and great opportunity for learning because you get to work with colleagues from different locations, values diversity. - Smartwork set-up, you can enjoy work from home (or anywhere) and work in the office to allow more effective collaboration with your teams. The list can go on, there are lots of reason to love working at Henkel. Hard to find this kind of culture and company values. I've stayed here for many years and Henkel has helped me grow professionally and personally! :)

      Cons

      - Hard to think, minor challenge would be working in different shifts since we work with colleagues from different regions, but generally manageable and can be discussed since we have flexible set-up.

      Pros

Work from home twice a week, which really helps with flexibility. Location is convenient and close to home. Family and intimate atmosphere.

      Cons

Communication isn’t always clear, which causes confusion and slows down processes. There are way too many meetings throughout the day, leaving very little time to focus on actual work. This often leads to finishing tasks after hours, hurting work-life balance. Too many projects running at the same time, and each one takes a lot of time to execute. It often feels unrealistic to manage everything at once. Not enough respect for employees’ time and priorities, which can create unnecessary stress.
