      Cons

Salary is woefully low for London, workplace benefits such as the pension are very low compared to other places

      Good salary but heavy workload

      Research intern
      Current intern
      Kuala Lumpur
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The salary offered is higher that the average benchmark, great work culture with supportive colleagues.

      Cons

However, the workload is very heavy, need to work on weekends, and constantly work OT. Company does not compensate for OT.

Good culture and environment, high workload depending on client

      Senior research executive
      Current employee
      Pasig City
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good Culture, good pay, gives bonuses and increase when good year, flexible time

      Cons

Workload depends on department and client, some can be incredibly taxing, at the least some departments can work within working hours

      Salary for Interns

      Market research intern
      Former intern
      Parsippany, NJ
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great and stable for the hours, they also approve overtime pay.

      Cons

Not a great working culture, great for temporary positions like internships or even working full-time for 1-2 years.

Used to be a good place to work

      Director
      Former employee
      Washington, DC
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

When I first joined, it was a good place to work. Good pay for federal research, a bright and innovative team, and remote work really helped offset needing to work a lot of overtime because it saved hours a day commuting in DC traffic.

      Cons

Ipsos North America/USPA used to be a good place to work, but repeated reorgs and recent management changes have made it awful. They keep laying off the staff who do the work to keep shareholders happy while hiring execs who are completely out of touch with the work. The office environment is miserable - noisy, with no personal space - because the workforce used to be primarily remote. It's hard to get things done and, even in the office, everyone spends most of the day in virtual meetings. There are so many meetings that the only way to get work done is by working after hours. They pay below market and rarely give raises. When I was recruited they told me there were sizable annual bonuses - there are no bonuses. Despite good performance reviews and saving several projects from disaster, pay raises are near non-existent and, if you get one, it won't be more than 2% every 2-3 years. When I joined, 4-5 years ago, it was a great place to work even though it was frequently short-staffed. Now it's absolutely terrible. The new leadership is terrible and doesn't care at all about the quality of work or whether there's anyone to get it done. There's lots of favoritism and a lot of hostility towards some of the most talented and knowledgeable staff.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Friendly team Easy to learn A lot of free time Flexibility Benefits

      Cons

The salary is low compared to other similar jobs in the field.

      It’s okey

      Pros

The salary was good but no work life balance

      Cons

Fast paced hence no room to learn Rude to employees No acknowledgement for work well done

      Honest Ipsos NA Review

      Director
      Current employee
      Chicago, IL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great People and Opportunity to expand knowledge and experience beyond day to day roles and responsibilities.

      Cons

lots of late nights, very fast deadlines, low base pay, often minimal bonus payout (not based on individual performance but company performance)

      2

Relaxed culture but poor management and unclear roles

      Associate director
      Current employee
      London, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Relaxed culture, nice colleagues, interesting work in Public Affairs service line doing social research and helping improve public policy.

      Cons

Poor management and structure, roles a bit unclear, the matrix structure means some people don't feel at home anywhere. There is a major lack of transparency on pay with people on the same grades having very different salaries, and there are very low pay rises and bonuses (below inflation last few years, on top of that they are asking staff to come in more which increases cost. Performance not rewarded, you can exceed business development targets and not receive good bonus / pay rise. Overall, feels like a lot of take and not much give at the moment. Falling majorly behind on AI tools despite a strong start.

      ouch

      Business Outlook

      Pros

culture (not too toxic) have a lot of interesting solutions some nice people here and there

      Cons

very low pay, other benefits are not attractive either no compensation for OT or when you're working over the weekend leadership is quite off sometimes unclear career path, unclear direction for development from the management (or even your direct manager) which leads to low motivation from time to time
