What is the company culture at JR Automation Technologies?

The only pro to working here was the fact I got to work with automation which is my field.

The culture is just hire as many people as possible and you either sink or swim. I worked in the service department so we would go out and do service calls. The manager would meet with us in the morning and tell us where we’re going. We would never have all of the information we needed.

My direct boss was great. But even themselves were completely defeated in the company culture that changed when it was bought by JR Automation. People that had been there >5 years were dropping like flies

Had a clear hostile work environment. Finally made a complaint and it was never documented. Found this out when making another HR complaint after the subject of the first threatened me and my job while getting in my face. There was a clear old regime that ran things , that's why my first complaint was thrown in the trash by the HR director .

Contractors were frequently treated differently from full time employees. Company events, holiday celebrations, prizes, and morale activities were openly communicated throughout email and the building, while contractors were told they were excluded from participation. There were also situations where meetings regarding bonuses and employee incentives took place onsite while contractors were asked to leave the area entirely. The separation between contractors and employees created an uncomfortable and discouraging environment despite contractors contributing significantly to daily operations. Training and communication could also be inconsistent, and long term growth opportunities for contractors lacked transparency mostly due to "budget".
