      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good benefits and opportunities to advance.

      Cons

You’re doing the jobs of three people at once but getting paid for one. They do not tell you before starting that your going to be doing multiple jobs and dealing with verbal abuse from your employer.

      1

Decent job depending on location and franchise

      Assistant manager

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good benefits, easy to move up, good hours, good bonus structure depending on franchise, great coworkers depending on location

      Cons

Minimal work life balance, some policies can be questionable, low pay ceiling at store level

      Pay sucks, Upper Management Sucks

      General manager
      Former employee
      Houston, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Getting to help people learn how to maintain their cars

      Cons

Literally everything else. In my almost 3 years as a General manager, I can count on 1 hand how many times I was actually paid out a bonus. Had so many issues with even just getting my pay check. Company often changes what qualifies you for a bonus, and the benefits you would receive working for the company. Upper management live in a dream world, and most have not worked in the shop environment for many years, and even those that have, act like they haven't. The only way I would ever recommend someone to work for this company, is if the franchise that runs most of the stores in Texas was to go away, and let corporate actually fix the issues in the stores.

      Great Place to Work

      Customer service advisor
      Former employee
      Roanoke, VA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

I like the people I worked with and that they worked with me on what hours I could work so I could still be a full time employee. They have a deal of the day every day so everyone can get free lunch if you meet the set deal for the day by 1pm.

      Cons

If you don't like basically working in whatever temperature is going on outside, then not the job for you. Also the pay is not the best but they do offer life insurance and benefits.

      Okay

      Technician
      Former employee
      Yorkville, IL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      Money Flexible Benefits are good

      Cons

Slow while there Get sent home early

      Bad place to work

      Csa - customer service associate
      Former employee
      Tulsa, OK
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

There are no good reasons to work for tulsa jiffy lube

      Cons

Owner worry about his own money. Supervisors don't realize true life. They are all paid for their title but the people that actually physically work don't get paid right. No bonus no vacation no benefits. Waste of life.

      Horrible job

      Technician
      Former employee
      Charlotte, NC
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      U get some money done

      Cons

The bonuses are bs. Won’t see one unless u barely skim by busting ur butt 24/7. They don’t like to keep people in the clock so ur doing multiple people’s jobs at once and they lie about raises. The mechanic position is a joke. They expect to diagnose big issues with little to no shop equipment. Also healthcare costs more than any I’ve ever seen. Will take up 25% of ur check for the worst benefits imaginable.

Job stability but lacks real benefits

      Tire technician
      Former employee
      Naples, FL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

you got a job and youre working on tires and cars

      Cons

no real benefits besides getting paid i guess

Was not given a real oppurtunity because I am a female

      Maintenance technician
      Former employee
      San Antonio, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

I loved working in a fast-paced environment. Only one assistant manager would use my strengths. I did everything from greeting customers, translating, cashier, performing maintenance, you name it, I did it.

      Cons

The general manager had me do only courtesy which is putting air in tires, cleaning windows, and vacuuming cars. Everyone was afraid of him. So, I mostly did courtesy. Only 1 assistant manager used my strengths to the company's benefit. When I worked with that 1 assistant manager, all customers were happy and satisfied with short wait time and receiving exceptional customer service.
