      You will learn some tremendously specific areas of taxation which would look great on a CV. For me, that included private equity disposals and income, artwork and offshore life insurance policies.

      Cons

      As with a lot of big corporates, you will be a "cog in the machine" and it can be a very draining experience where it is difficult to bring your best, authentic self to the role.

      1.Pension- Only 8% employer contributions 2.Not able to buy holiday unless you have a certain amount of time in the firm , despite the fact that is available to buy on the system ; 3,It’s the micromanagement system that it’s not my cup of tea- doing timesheets every week 4. If you join after 1 June - your not eligible for the annual performance bonus , means you’re left out (even if it’s 2 days later ) 5. People are superficial and stressed out
