      Pros

Supportive and approachable leadership: Senior leaders and managers are accessible, invested in their teams, and genuinely open to ideas and discussion. There’s a strong sense of trust once you’ve proven yourself. Strong brands with meaningful projects: Working across La-Z-Boy and Hunter Home offers exposure to large-scale brand refreshes, website launches, and integrated campaigns across multiple markets. Collaborative team culture: The environment feels people-first rather than overly corporate. Stability and long-term thinking: The business takes a considered approach to change, with a clear focus on long-term brand value rather than chasing short-term trends.

      Cons

Pace of change can feel slow at times: Larger structural or technical decisions (e.g. martech, CRM, platform changes) can take time, which can limit how quickly teams can optimise or innovate. Career pathways could be clearer: While progression is possible, role expectations and long-term career paths aren’t always clearly defined upfront, which may create uncertainty for ambitious team members.

      Former employee

      Pros

La Z Boy whole maybe not the most glamorous job in the world does offer some really great benefits to their employees. The environment is fairly slow paced any given weekday and offers a lot of opportunity for personal development. At least at the location I was at. Also pay is great considering the level of stress is often minimal.

      Cons

Tracking orders and customer complaints is often difficult. Management can be fairly hands off

      DONT. EVER. WORK. HERE.

      Pros

      Coworkers are cool. That's it.

      Cons

Everything about this place. Pay is insulting. Job is the equivalent of suffering. I've developed serious physical and mental health issues working here. It feels like being stuck in an abusive relationship. Higher management will act like they are there for you but despite telling them I'm depressed to come to work to their face, they basically gave me the run around and eventually said it's my fault because I chose to work here so maybe I should find a different feild. I ended up blaming myself at first, thinking well yes I chose to work here and put myself here and I make little money because I don't sell more...but I sell a lot. And no matter how much I sell its not enough. It's never enough. All they care about is the numbers. YOU are just a number to them. Everything is micro managed but rules and expectations change every 5 seconds so no matter what you are cornered and given endless tasks to do. Pay is disgusting to say the least. It's so bad I've practically gone in debt but was told how much money I will make working here when I was hired and was promised so much wealth and care. There is no room for advancement, and they will lead you on to believe you can get there. Training is by far the worst in any industry I've ever worked in. I have lost my soul here and I want to add that the amount of paper they waste here is of disgusting quantities. I've been trying to find a new job because unfortunately I can't afford to quit. I CANT WAIT to be out of this torture chamber. AVOID this place if you have any respect for yourself and your sanity. Prepare to be disappointed by empty promises. Id like to point out that I tried hard to like the job or convince myself that I did. But everything that happens here built up so much resentment that I've broken down. For every good there was overwhelming amounts of bad to overwrite it.
