What is a typical working day like at Massachusetts General Hospital?

Working night shift i was able to to park right next to the hospital, security is so helpful when de-escalating a patient,

Management was picky about allowing who can start training into traumas or be in pediatrics. It doesnt matter how long you have been at the hospital. One of the managers were very condescending and unprofessional many times yet HR never did any thing.

I loved my team here mainly for the People and my love for the field and area I was working at. The knowledgeable nurses and fellow coworkers made it all worth it. Schedule was very flexible and vacations were reasonable

Pay was pretty terrible. Commute didn’t allow for parking during the day and for a night shift you don’t make night pay until 11pm start so an 7pm to 7am shift you’re out of luck. My schedule was very accommodating but I heard other coworkers were not as easily accommodated. Occasional being cussed out or food thrown at you but that just comes with the territory
