Pros and Con of working with Mckesson

      Pros

McKesson often provides ample opportunities for career advancement and professional development. Employees might have access to training programs, mentorship, and pathways for upward mobility within the company.

      Cons

Given McKesson's size and the dynamic nature of the healthcare industry, employees might experience frequent changes in company strategy, leadership, or organizational structure, which can be unsettling for some.

      Financial data analyst
      Current employee
      Irving, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Very positive environment, lots of opportunities for advancement

      Cons

      Large work load at times

      Your experience may vary

      Customer service representative
      Current employee
      Jacksonville, FL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good support system for information and the company gives employees opportunities for recognition when doing a job well. Working from home is wonderful.

      Cons

QA's. Lots of oversight - everything you do is recorded, though this is only an issue if you don't have a personal PC to work on next to your work PC between calls. Lots of system updates and I've only been here less than a year, tech issues can pile up and make work frustrating at times. I don't feel properly compensated for the in-depth research and efforts made for case completion. And a lot of people from different departments means tons of personalities, some will give pushback about assisting you for no reason. There is a hiring freeze in effect and incentives were placed on hold despite pulling in profits.
