      Pros

Working at Medix has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. One of the standout aspects of this company is its commitment to internal growth opportunities. Unlike many places where career advancement can feel like an uphill battle, Medix fosters a culture where hard work is not only recognized but genuinely rewarded. Beyond career progression, the team dynamics at Medix are exceptional. I'm fortunate to work alongside supportive colleagues who celebrate each other's successes. There's a genuine camaraderie that permeates our workplace, where everyone cheers on each other's wins and supports each other through challenges.

      Cons

Working at Medix is both rewarding and demanding, especially given the nature of the staffing industry. It's a field that comes with its fair share of ups and downs. The pace can be fast, and things don’t always go as planned. It's a challenging environment where flexibility and resilience are key. That said, these challenges also provide valuable opportunities for growth. The unpredictability of the industry has taught me the importance of maintaining a positive and enthusiastic mindset. Every setback is a learning experience, and staying optimistic is crucial to moving forward. What truly makes a difference at Medix is the incredible support system. From team members to leadership, there's a strong sense of camaraderie that helps you navigate the tough times. Relying on this network of support has been instrumental in overcoming challenges and continuing to strive for success.

Pay is not competitive and not an even playing field. I don't know how they decide who gets paid what but performance and tenure don't seem to play a part.

      Pros

Nice office in heart of Chicago, that is it. Maybe a good post college job to start, but don't relocate for the job.

      Cons

Medix, at first, is the epitome of drinking the "kool aid". You have a CEO who talks about being a "ohana" and " family" when reality its a massive deflection of whats really going on. There is no process to anything at Medix and the company never has a general direction of where they are going. The amount of new hires in recruitment and sales that leave is astonishing. There is no forward training on how to be successful or get better. Leadership in your division is compromised of yes men who will do anything to please leadership even if it's at the expense of the team under them. It's a boys locker room or fraternity with how its run. You are nothing but a number to Medix. They try to make the culture great by shoving alcohol in your face and having periodic "team building opportunities". The company as a whole is going down hill. They got new investors and the company has yet to show an increase in revenue. They let go of half the Chicago office and then had a meeting about how well and bright the future looks. Just don't work here. It takes a professional and personal toll on you. I can't see the company sustaining itself in the next 5 or so years. It's evident. Titantic 2.0.

      Pros

You will actually make friends at work, the team was the only thing that kept me going. I managed to stay in this company for over a year but I have been thinking about quitting since my 2nd month.

      Cons

High turnover, low compensation, micromanagement, they make so many promises that they are not keeping, so many internal changes, very toxic work environment, really the only good thing about this company is the people/employees NOT leadership. Very stressful position, no job security what so ever, no career growth, no opportunities, if you are a top performer they will treat you like royalty but the moment something goes wrong you will feel like you might get laid off tomorrow. There are way better companies out there..
